ABOUT US
Hello, everyone!! We are so excited to finally be launching our longarm quilting service business. It has been quite the journey to get here. We'll try and keep it short .. LOL.
Mom and I started Lola Pink Fabrics back in 2009 as an online shop selling fabric. We then opened a brick and mortar shop in 2011 and became BERNINA sewing machine dealers in 2012. From then until January 2024, we operated as Lola Pink Fabrics in Lafayette, Louisiana.
In January 2024, we decided to downsize and focus on the parts of the business that truly brought us joy .. BERNINA, embroidery, and quilting. Part of that included finally adding longarm service to our business!
We've been longarming our own quilts since 2016 and really had no intention of every longarming for customers .. but late last year the idea came to us and we started getting really excited about it. So, we are pleased to invite you to the Lola Pink Quilt Co.!
We longarm on a BERNINA Q24 (but of course) with Q-matic (automated edge-to-edge) and wouldn't have it any other way. The longarm is located in our shop, BERNINA Lafayette.
We hope you will give us the honor of helping you finish your quilt! We welcome our local customers and those that not are local who wish to send us their quilt.
